My Portfolio

My portfolio is a collection of photography, writing and ad campaigns I have done that I am the most proud of. My personal Instagram account is linked throughout the website since a lot of my art is posted there as well. I also treat my personal account as a blog for the public to see, since a majority of the work I want to do revolves around travel and experience. My account highlights trips I've been on all over the world as well as everyday experiences with friends and family that have shaped who I am. It is a portfolio within itself with my captions and organization in the way I form my page.

My advertising and digital marketing pages contain numerous campaigns that are focused in anything from travel to winter sports gear. Some of the projects featured were put together for possible client use, others were projects for specific study focusing on brand message or multichannel marketing. Each project allowed me to use my skills in new ways that continued to elevate my work. Because I have a passion for writing and photography, it felt natural to move into the marketing space because it allows me to explore both passions. Through studying social media marketing, I discovered a new excitement about building brand personas and to connect with people directly.

A lot of my written work featured in my portfolio is journalistic, ranging in topics from coverage of art exhibits to analyzing the fashion industry's involvement in climate change, but I also enjoy writing fiction of all types and blogging. It started as an emotional escape, but then turned into a way for me observe the things around me more in depth. It helped me understand things from multiple points of view and be able to talk about them from a perspective that people may not have considered before.

Lastly, my photography style has gone through a few different phases, some of which I go back to on occasion. I enjoy street photography, portraits and surrealism now, but there is a lot of nature and landscape photos that I took a while ago that I still love. My favorite things to do in the editing phase is play with color and lighting. I think that the mood of a photo can affect a person in a very strong way and I love being able to influence that.
